Good data, easy access

I tried Briefing In Play. It was useful for quick market moves. The real-time news feed worked well. No issues with setting it up or getting the data I needed.

Worthwhile for active traders

I took the 14-day trial of Briefing Trader, then switched to an annual subscription. The real-time news and market commentary were really helpful for my day trading. I particularly liked the Fed Ticker and the options analysis, which provided quick insights. Setting up my preferences was straightforward, and the interface, while not super modern, was functional. I had one question about customizing my alerts, and customer service responded to my email within a few hours, which was good. The economic calendar was a nice addition too, kept me on top of things. Overall, it's a solid platform for someone who needs quick, reliable market info.

Solid info, minor site quirks

I signed up for Briefing Investor for a year. The stock analysis and earnings reports were generally good, helped me make a few calls. Delivery of the daily updates was consistent, never missed one. I did notice the site navigation felt a bit dated compared to some other platforms I've used, like Benzinga Pro. Not a deal-breaker, but an update would be nice. Value for the annual subscription was decent, especially with the discount I got.

Is Briefing.com worth it for a retail trader or is it more for the big institutional guys? I'm debating between this and just sticking with Seeking Alpha for my daily info.

I've used Briefing.com for about a year now. Honestly, it's pretty solid for day trading, especially the 'In Play' stuff. You get a lot of real-time analysis that Seeking Alpha doesn't quite match. Definitely try the free trial first to see if it fits your style.

Yeah, I think it's good. SA is more for longer-term stuff and opinion pieces, while Briefing.com is more about what's moving *right now*. Depends what you're after. I found it really helped me with quick decisions.

Hey, anyone know if they ever have sales on the annual plans? I'm thinking of signing up but don't want to miss out on a good deal if one's coming soon.

They usually have some kind of discount for annual subscriptions, I think I got like 15-20% off when I signed up last fall. And sometimes around holidays like end of year, they might have something extra. Keep an eye out.

Just grab the free trial now. If you like it, they pretty much always offer a decent chunk off if you commit to a year. You won't miss much by waiting a bit.
